*i may not hold my bestfriends' hands, but i hold a special place in my heart for them*
How can we find true friendship in this often fake, temporary world?
Friendship involves recognition or familiarity with the others' personality.
Friends often share likes and dislikes, interests, dreams and passions
True friendship involves relationship.
Those mutual attributes become the base that transpires into relationship.
Many people say, "Oh, she's a good friend of mine,"
yet they never take time to spend time with that "good friend."
Friendship takes time:
time to get to know each other,
time to build shared memories,
time to invest in each others growth.
True friendship requires certain dependability factors.
Real friends encourage one another and forgive one another where there has been an offense.
Genuine friendship supports during times of struggle.
We love our friends no matter what and we always want the best for our friends.
True friendship is being there when you are needed,
no matter what the situation is about.
This cliché entry is dedicated to all my best(est) friends, whom have been with me through ups and down, left and right (and centre) for many (many) years. I hope they will still be there for many (many) years to come, even when I'm wrinkly and saggy. ;)
