i hate...

being sick!

last week was OFFICIALLY my sick-week! since workload is like s**t, i couldnt afford to take sick leave (not becoz i want to be the employee of the year, ok??)

the night before i had to attend the Branding Seminar, i was down with fever.. being a person who hates taking medicine going to see the doctor, i just took couple of panadols.. i was feeling quite ok that same night, and also throughout the seminar that was held at The Legend Hotel.

so, i was relief to think that i had recovered. but that night, my throat started to feel painfully-funny.. it was hard to swallow food. heck, it was even harder to gulp my drinks! the next morning, i woke up sounding like Donald Duck!

errrrkkk!!!

yeap, i lost my voice.. i gave everyone a shock of their lives. for someone who is loud all most of the time, they found it weird having me 'quiet' and 'not-talking'.. ha ha! and to avoid from answering calls, i've put a tag on my YM - "i wont be answering phone calls today. i've lost my voice"

then, having to sit in the Knowledge Management Workshop for 2 days, having to discuss with other team members, having to express my 'geram-ness' during brainstorming and presentation sessions - had made it all worst! i was told by the doctor not to talk. i need to get my throat relaxed, so it would heal faster. ceh! macam la boleh, kan?? my buddies (who know me too well) - if they bet on me 'couldnt go thru a day without talking'.. ha ha! mesti diaorg menang punya lah! with or without voice, i would still be LOUD!! huhuhuhu..

this morning, i woke up feeling much better. a bit of my voice is back, but im still down with cough. TAPI, SEKARANG INI, SAKIT MATA LA PULAK!!!! ADUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

yes, both of my eyes are now red and sore! i seriously hope that they'd be ok by monday. i seriously dont want to put on shades in the office! or, should i take this as a sign for me to take sick leave already??

p/s: i guess, this is wat people call: sudah jatuh, di timpa tangga..??
