im back from hiatus, my 'messy' hiatus to be exact. nothing much happened for the past week. my mind is still a bit unstable, and my headaches aren't going anywhere.. *sigh*
however, i did get to spend some time 'buka puasa-ing' with close buddies.. and, catching up with friends is always a cure for my stress..
so, on 12.09.08, sue and i had our buka puasa @ the 39 Restaurant, PNB Darby Park - an invitation i got from Encik Terence Paul of FlyFM/HotFM. the view (from 39th floor) was breathtaking, especially during sunset. nice ambience, and thanx to sue for being a great company.... BUT, the buffet line was........ nothing to shout about.

on 15.09.08, i got another invitation from ASTRO. so, i went with the usual 'geng', and since it was hosted by ASTRO, we expected to rub shoulders with some celebs! hehehe.. miz nyna and i, we were soooooo expecting to see Anuar Zain!
we reached the beautiful KL Convention Centre at around 6.30pm (traffic was kind to us). before the whole event started, i got to catch up with Manzerk. and miss spoilbrat, if u're reading this, YES, MANZERK'S DEMUKKKK! hehehhee.. and because i was sooo busy chatting with him, i missed a photo opp with Yusry!!!!! arrrgghh, frustrating!
the buka puasa was actually meant for children from few orphanages. they were the centre of attention, no doubt. and, it gave me a great feeling seeing their happy faces, being celebrated by other people.. owh, the food was scrumptious!
the hall was huge, and after much of eye-squinting, Anuar Zain was nowhere to be seen. hampess! and, to make it worst, Yusry left before we even sempat grab him for a snap! hampess lagi!! :( but, i did bump into the ever-charming Amir Mahmood, and also an old college-mate, Man, whom i dont remember ever speaking to in college. hehehee...
we had the whole table for 10 pax, for just the 4 of us! ;)

babe, i've been meaning to ask u bout ur LV bag. im not really a fan of the brand, but im liking the bag u're using. where did u buy it? coz here, it would be super-expensive, rite?
which LV bag u meant? is it the neverfull in damier?
yeap, that's the one! ;) i've seen some women carrying it, & it just looks awesome lah!
i grabbed it in Tokyo during my buss trip. i love the bag very much. but unfortunately, LV only released it in Japan,Guam and Hawaii (why larr Hawaii kan?).
The price is bit pricey than normal neverfull (mono). Might be because of the exchange rates. (buying LV in Japan is soooo not advisable). but i have no choice tho.
i did ask the SA in Singapore and here, they said it wont be released elsewhere, but if they did, it might be next year.
go grab it dear. highly highly recommended! ;D. a good investment to start an LV collection. :P
babe, thanks for the info. like i said, im not really a fan of LV, but maybe this bag will be my starting point, in owning an LV, kan? hmm, if it's coming in next year, i'll just wait lah, patiently! ;)
