taking the leap of faith

was on my way to work this morning, while listening to the regular voices and jokes of Phat Fabes and Ben of FlyFM Pagi Show, when i heard callers calling in to congratulate Ben. he recently got engaged to his long-time girlfriend - Stella.

but, he was asking opinions from all listeners, which was the topic of discussion this morning - How do you know exactly, when u're ready (for the 'big' M word - marriage)?

Ben and Fabes also shared the story of how Ben popped up the question to Stella. it was all romantic and sweet. :) but, of coz, there were funny side of the whole proposal story.

so, few callers called in to share their thots, and words of wisdom. and, i do agree with wat most of them said: u are ready, when u made the decision to ask the other party to spend his/her life with u. now, the statement doesnt only apply to Ben, but also to all couples who are thinking of spending their lives together.

for example, in my case, when mr.hubby (back then, he was still tagged as mr.boyfie) made the marriage proposal to yours truly, without thinking much, i said YES. so, when u feel that it's right, when u feel that it's meant to be, and nothing excites u more than the thot of sharing lives together, u ARE ready.

yes, it's a big risk to take, but hey, wat's life without going thru risks, rite? in the end, it's all about taking the leap of faith.

so, to Ben, congratulations! may u and Stella have a beautiful life together as husband and wife.

on a different note, congratulations too, to Stone and his wifey, Ain. they are expecting their 2nd child. Ain, take good care.. hope u'll 'pass thru' the 1st trimester sickness!

p/s: i told u, almost everyone i know is preggy now! ;)
