WIP - lets get re-united!

i’ve been working for…. errm, lets see,
almost 8 years now..
my 1st work experience as a PR, was with an events company in USJ.
didn’t have any experience in PR or events, after my graduation,
i simply took the job offer for the sake of not-wanting-to-be-unemployed-for-long!
in time, I’ve learned to like wat I was doing..
writing, coordinating events, dealing with media people,
outstations.. late nights, stress-mode most of the time.

now, when I look back, my work experience has always revolved around events.
even now, my main jobscope is doing PR,
im still given the responsibility to be involved in the organising of the company events,
directly or indirectly, big or small.

i guess, it has always been in me;
my interest has always been in this line,
organising events..
all the coordination work, working together in a team,
brainstorming, problems + problem-solving,
they all give me the excitement!

is that weird to u?? :P

even coordinating a get-together with my bunch of girlfrens
gives me the thrill!

so, this interesting interest of mine,
has brought me to… sort of volunteer myself to
coordinate my primary school reunion,
next month.
working on it very closely with another old-ex-schoolmate,
i’ve volunteered to do venue recce + booking,
trying to track down + extending invitations to other long lost frens,
taking confirmation of attendance, phone calling, texting and facebooking each other.
(it’s not that easy, ok? trying to get in touch with them, who have been ‘lost’ for more than 20 years, and who have other commitments other than to come for the reunion!)

but, i lurve every bit of it!
