The past trips that I've had, I would normally made it an effort to buy something for my friends back home..
In layman term, souvenirs laa..
But, my friends do know that I'm a budget traveller -
I stay in affordable hotels (if not hostels),
I dine at regular restaurants (if not stalls),
I shop at discounted outlets (if not bazaars),
I get around on foot (if not trains or buses).
Sebab tu, being a budget traveller, they don't expect expensive souvenirs from me!
Haha!
They would either get postcards, keychains, fridge magnets, coin purses or some accessories.
But, now, I think it's kinda un-necessary for me to buy souvenirs for "some" of them...
I don't quite know why...
Maybe it's getting too cliche, and who would need more than 5 keychains, right?
Still, there's the saying: "it's the thought that counts".
So, it doesn't matter what I give, it's my thought that counts.
And my thoughts were "translated" into postcards, keychains, fridge magnets, coin purses or some accessories.
