Syawal celebration continues...

Scene 1:
one of the many perks being in PR line is definitely, all the freebies and invites i get from the media people. hehe.. recently, Utusan had extended invitation to the company, to attend their Raya gathering, held at The Crowne Plaza Hotel - right in the heart of city centre. as expected, we would be 'bumping' into local celebs at the gathering. maklumlah, saya ni tak mempunyai kawan-kawan selebriti. jadi, masa-masa begini lah dapat mencuci mata, walaupun cuma untuk jangkamasa yang sekejap (alamak! ni mcm dah terkena 'blogging in Bahasa Malaysia bug' aje - maybe from The Yoga Instructor Diaries ????) huhuhuhuhu...

p/s: to Ms. Ninie Ahmad, TYI - kalaulah u terbaca ni (KALAU), jgn marah eh? sesungguhnya, penguasaan Bahasa Malaysia anda, adalah jauh lebih baik dari saya ;)

(psst: kalau betul Ninie baca blog ni, aku boleh pengsan ok??)

anyway, back to my story.. instead of going with my regular sistas, i went with my 2 staff. so, it was like totally promoting 'kami menyambut semua perayaan di Malaysia, walaupun kami lahir dengan bangsa yang berbeza' kinda thing... by the way, Malaysia's number 1 singer (as some would claimed) was there to perform. i couldnt be bothered.. not her fan. never have been, never will be... :P

among others who were there - sofea jane, mila wazzup wazzup, yassin - the former member of Brothers, THE Siti siblings, Mawi and THE fiance.. hmm, ada lagi a few.. tak ingat dah..

Scene 2:
most roads are quite congested these days, with people going for open houses or Diwali shopping.. on saturday afternoon, mr. hubby was invited by his frens for an open house in Klang (it was an outdoor thingy, with canopy and everything). i didnt intend to go.. so, i just asked him to drop my mom and i to SJ, my eldest bro's hse. and he could go with mr. son and ms. daughter.



then, suddenly, the plan was changed - we all went! malu betul... sampai sana, i saw other people were nicely dressed with baju kurung and baju melayu. kitaorg, satu family - mr. hubby (biasa lah) with his tshirt and jeans.. kiddos were OK-ly dressed.. my mom wasnt that bad either.. but ME!!?? i wore my basic grey T from Cats Whiskers, and my skinny Levis!! adoooii.. and of all the many shuz i have at home....................................




i wore THAT to the open hse! hahahaha... eeeiii.. sloppy sungguhhhhh!!!



i kept on asking mr. hubby: "takpe ke saya pakai camnie nak pegi open hse??"

his answer was: "laa.. selamba la.. bukan diaorg nak marah pun. bukannya diaorg takkan bagi makan." (bagus betul suamiku itu! sangat membantu!)

so, the food was nice.. and of coz, mr. son & ms. daughter had fun 'exploring' the surrounding.. maklumla, buat outdoor, kat workshop..


both kiddos begged their ayah, sebab nak main basikal yang tersusun indah tu! lepas tu, mengamuk nak bawak balik basikal!!!
