ms. daughter's currently asleep next to me. that's why im taking this 'golden' opportunity to put up couple of entries on my blog -- lesser fingers tapping on the keyboard!
she's now 2 years and 2 months. and, she's picking up words, very well. a thing that i notice with both of my kiddos are their speech ability. not that im bragging or wat, but they don't have problems, especially with their pronunciation of words. and, i've heard a friend of mine mentioning about BF (read: mothers, u would know wat BF means) and speech development. maybe there's a strong connection between both. after digging here and there, BF does not only helps in speech development, but also:
- Higher IQ
- Better immune systems
- Decrease illness
- Better immune systems
- Decrease illness
- Better muscle development
- Better visual development
- Better reading and speech ability
- Less ear infections
- Less ear infections
- Less childhood cancers
- Less risk of braces
- Decrease risk of liver disease
- Fewer cavities
- Lower cholesterol as an adult
- Lower cholesterol as an adult
- Lower risk of ulcerative colitis as an adult
- Less food allergies
- Decrease risk of breast cancer

im glad that both of my kiddos were BF (read in past tense) ;)
a bit of mr. son, who has no probs (at all) in smiling for the camera and being the centre of attention!
