remember the Doc?

i bought my 1st pair during my trip to London, back in the year 2000 (errr, betul ke tahun 2000?? hmm...... betul kot, kan??)

the outlet that i bought the Doc was in the ever famous Covent Garden, London - right opposite the Nine West boutique. im not sure whether the outlet is still there now..

but, i didnt buy mine like the pix below.. i bought the Mary Jane version, black colour. i went to London wearing my adidas samba, and came back home wearing THE Mary Jane. haha.. (the samba was buruk already, anyway).

the name, Dr. Martens, has actually given a whole new meaning to the grunge-look. and back then, oh my.. who owned at least a pair of the Doc, kira happening dan hebat la gitu! :P poyo betul, kan??

after (almost) being forgotten now, they are making a comeback.. with a more stylish design.. no more combat boots babe! they now, have added in the collection... THESE!!

and i've actually set my mind to add more flats in my shoes addiction collection... so, who knows, maybe some of those might end up on my shoe-rack!
