the supershort work-trip to Kangar

i was in Kangar, Perlis yesterday.
the company had a function with the royals of Perlis. so, i had to be there with the bosses.
not that i wanted to.. but as if i had the choice of saying NO to it..

it was a tiring journey.. having to start my sunday much earlier than the usual.
woke up at 4.30am, and by 5.30am, i was already at the bosses' place.

if my memory doesnt fail me, i've never been to Kangar, Perlis.. :P
apart from knowing the fact that it's the smallest state in Malaysia, i know NOTHING about the place.
dont know any good places to check out.. dont know any good food to try out..
the journey that seemed endless did give some cramps to my butt! haha!

being on a tight schedule, i was there for the sole purpose - to work!
thank God, the media turnout was great! at least, i didnt fail the expectation of the bosses :P
owh, i also got to to shake hands with the DYTM Raja Muda Perlis and DYTM Raja Puan Muda Perlis ;)

[the event venue. i was told that the hotel was the best in Kangar]

although it was a supershort trip, Kangar gave me the same 'feeling' i had when i was back in my hometown.. the calm and peaceful feeling - which i totally do not from KL. i will make my way to Kangar again, given the chance in future.. and i'll make sure that i'll spend more than just 'hours' in the state :)

p/s: nell, maybe you can give me some tips on wat to check out in Kangar! ;)

anywhoooo, i'll be back to work tomorrow.. *sigh*
