Few weeks back, I watched “The Jane Austen Book Club” on HBO.
I’ve heard of the movie and have always wanted to watch it.
For a soapy person like me, undoubtedly I’d love the movie.
From the casts to the storyline, everything, I love!
(Additional fact: Luke of Confessions of A Shopaholic the movie is one of the casts. Ala, the cutest guy tu!! ;p)
And yesterday, I had lunch with friends from work, and we got into talking about books.
Yes, coincidentally, we all share the same interest.
The conversation led me into talking about the movie,
and the idea of forming our own book club!
To my surprise, both of them agreed with the idea!!

So, we are now planning on the ‘mechanism’ of the book club.
For sure,
1) we won’t be selecting Jane Austen.
coz apart from me, other members would not want to be bored to death reading literature-like stories!
2) we will meet once a month (over coffee, perhaps?) to share reviews/opinions on the books.
let's say, for 2 hours - the most?
3) we will select which books to read based on everyone's suggestions and agreement
We would love to have few other members to join it.
Apart from sharing the same interest, we’ll get to expand our social networking too!
Isn’t it the coolest?
(Okay, I may be exaggerating a bit!)
p/s: you must be in Klang Valley in order to join in.
Unless, you don't mind travelling once a month for endless conversations on books and endless cups of coffee?

Hey, this may be a start to something wonderful??
